(Doyle, Jerry Only, Dr. Chud ~the Misfits)
You probably know Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein best from
his days as the guitarist from the Misfits. He left in 2001
and formed his own band Gorgeous Frankenstein. Now he has
another new solo effort simply called Doyle. Their new album
"Abominator" was released in April of this year. I met the
Misfits many times but only met Doyle once at the Chiller
Theatre convention. I recently had the pleasure of
interviewing him. Special thanks to Dr. Chud for passing it on
for me. Without him this interview wouldn't have been
possible.
1. If you could meet anyone, living or
dead, who would you want to meet and why?
Can I have sex with them??? Marilyn Monroe.
2. Who are some of your favorite
musicians?
John 5, Toni Iommi, Joey Ramone
3. What's your guilty musical pleasure?
Sticking an Annihilator guitar into a pussy.
4. Who did you idolize as a child?
Johnny Ramone.
5. Stranded on a deserted island, what 3
cds would you have with you?
That would drive me nuts, I'd rather have
none.
6. What are your hobbies?
Sex, Football, Pizza
7. The difference between today's music
and the music of the 80's?
I don't follow music.
