Audie Desbrow is best known for being the
awesome drummer of Great White. Great White has been
performing since the late 80's and they're still going strong.
I had the pleasure of meeting the guys many times in the 80's
and 90's. Audie was always a great guy! I recently had the
pleasure of interviewing him.
1. Any person (living or dead) that
you would like to meet and why?
God, because he's my creator who wouldn't
want to meet him someday?
2. Who are some of your favorite
musicians?
Bill Bruford from King Crimson/Earthworks,
John Bonham, Ringo Starr.
3. What's your guilty musical
pleasure?
Any combination of 60's and 70's rock,
including Motown.
4. Who did you idolize as a child?
Ringo Starr
5. Stranded on a deserted island, what
3 cds would you have with you?
Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon) Led
Zeppelin (Houses of the Holy) Beatles (Abbey Road).
6. The difference between today's
music and the music of the 80's?
80's music reflected on good times and
having fun- more positive energy.
7. Favorite place to perform?
I enjoy performing on any stage.
8. What makes a good song?
Anything with a good groove.
9. What are your hobbies?
Traveling, mountains, target shooting,
bowling, and spending time with my pets and my better half.
10. Favorite food to eat on the road?
Sushi or Mexican food
11. The first concert you ever went
to?
Alice Cooper- The Killer Tour
12. Who's the best person you've met
on the road?
Ronnie James Dio and I have to add Charlie
Daniels.
13. Any current projects?
Beginning to kick off a 2013 tour with big
surprises.
