Sean Clark

Sean Clark is the producer of: Horror's Hallowed Grounds, The Black Waters of Echo's Pond, The Nightmare Isn't Over: The Making of Halloween II and Stand Alone: The Making of Halloween III.

1. What was your favorite thing to dress up as for Halloween in childhood?

A baseball Fury from the film The Warriors.

2. What is your favorite horror movie and why?

The Shining because it can still make me feel uneasy to this day. Kubrick was the master.

3. Who are your favorite horror movie actors/actresses?

I don't really have favorites.

4. Is there any particular monster that fascinates you?

Favorite classic monster is the Creature From the Black Lagoon.

5. What is your favorite movie you have acted in & why?

I really haven't "acted" a whole bunch but I'm in my film The Black Waters of Echo's Pond doubling people but since its my film I had a blast.

6. Who did you idolize as a child?

KISS

7.Who was the nicest celebrity that you met?

Linda Hamilton

8. What was it like working with Clive Barker?

If you are referring to Lords of Illusion I was just an extra but it was a blast. I did however work with Clive on the documentary Halloween 25 Years of Terror. I got to go to his house and interview him on camera for that doc.

Clive is also a close 2nd as nicest celeb ever.

9. Do you like acting or producing better?

I honestly enjoy directing more that either of those. However I think my strong point is editing.

10.What made you get into acting?

I've never pursued acting nor do I really even consider myself an actor but with Horror's Hallowed Grounds I sort of have to act especially when we spoof stuff.

11. What do you feel makes a good horror movie?

Story first and then direction to sell the story properly. Of course you need strong acting as well.

12. Why do you think that people enjoy being scared?

It's an adrenalin rush and as long as we know its safe it makes it fun.

13. Any current projects?

I would love to do another film and have worked on a script called "Sugar" for quite sometime but other things have held that up. I am currently working on several new episodes of Horror's Hallowed Grounds for Shout Factory.
