TINA KRAUSE

1. What was your favorite thing to dress up as for Halloween in childhood?
I didn’t have a favorite thing to dress up as but Halloween was definitely one of my favorite holidays.

2. What is your favorite horror movie and why?
That's a good question... there is a couple but I'm only going to mention 2 for now.  No just one the other is a TV series called The Kingdom (Dutch).  This was truly scary and very character driven kind of like ER on crack and with a horrific twist.  The other is a Japanese movie called infection and it’s about an infection that starts in the mind.  It is well written and cinematically pleasing but will having you thinking about the subject matter for days.

3. Who are your favorite horror movie actors/actresses?

Well… Sid Haig/ Bill Mosley….. Leslie Easterbrook

4. Is there any particular monster that fascinates you?

Yup… The ChupaCabre….. please please somebody tell me what the F*($@#K this thing is?!?!?!?!

5. What is your favorite movie you have acted in & why?

I’m going to take it that you mean Horror movie because I’ve been in a couple of comedies and that was fun J so there are a few that I really enjoyed because the character changes throughout the film but I will say as of now within the last year it would be The Lake on Clinton Road / The Psychotics.  I play a mother who is arrested for drowning her son in a lake the part was intense and I never played a character like that before.  The other movie I play a CIA Dept head of weapons and chemical warfare and it’s a fun and powerful role.

6. As a child who did you idolize?

Bruce Lee

7. Going to conventions you have met a lot of famous people, who is your favorite?

James Wan… however I did not meet him at a convention.  I have met a lot of “famous” people though and a lot of them have been super cool J

8. What has been your favorite horror convention that you've been a guest at?

Oh boy…. I plead the 5th on that one…. Are you trying to get me in trouble with this question? J

9. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you want to meet and why?

Gary Oldman.  I happen to think he is an incredible actor and I have a few questions for him.

10. What made you get into acting?

I was a convention actually.  I never wanted to be an actress originally, I just happen to take my sister to a convention and someone offered me an acting job in a horror and…well…. The rest is history.

11. What do you feel makes a good horror movie?

A good story, good actors and solid cinematography.  I don’t think you need to have lots of gore and such but you do need the element of suspense and the unknown.

12. Why do you think that people enjoy being scared?

It’s an adrenalin rush.

13. Any current projects?

There are a few movies coming out like… The Lake on Clinton Road, The Psychotics and I will be shooting thru the summer The Hunters and a couple of others.
